Photography Competition 2011

Our aim was to find the best photographs from ethnographic fieldwork taken by students at Oxford. Now, with thanks to everyone who contributed photographs, we're delighted to announce that the winner is Juliet Gilbert (Lincoln College), with Ivan Costantino (Magdalen College) the runner up and the winner of the third prize.

Runner up: Ivan Costantino (Magdalen College) ‘Two young monks about to open the door to a monastery's assembly hall, Tibet’
3rd place: Ivan Costantino (Magdalen College) ‘Following a monk into the main courtyard of the Bon (hence the counter-clockwise swastika) monastery of Yundrungling, Tibet’
